On Saturday, August 8, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., Carolina’s Italian Restaurant, located at 12045 Chapman Avenue, will host a drive-thru food donation for Garden Grove residents in need. Carolina’s Italian Restaurant will donate means of pasta, salad, bread, and water to the first 750 drivers.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a hardship to the community,” said owner TIm Ibrahim. “A free meal will not change lives, but hopefully it will offer some relief to those in need, and remind the community to help one another during these difficult times.”
For over 40 years, Carolina’s Italian Restaurant has served the community through food donations to various local non-profit organizations and programs, such as the Boys and Girls Clubs of Garden Grove; Garden Grove Strawberry Festival; Garden Grove Unified School District; and H. Louis Lake Senior Center’s Meals on Wheels.
The Restaurant has remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic, offering carry-out and delivery services. Hours are Monday through Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m.
