Local CA Census Event to boost self-response rates in Orange County

Following the federal government’s announcement that the 2020 Census will end a month early, and in an effort to increase participation in Orange County, The Cambodian Family has organized a series of events offering a free doughnut and Questionnaire assistance for households in the Orange County area.

With responses nationwide lagging behind 2010 rates, these events will remind Californians that participating in the Census is something they can do online or over the phone, or with assistance from a Questionnaire Assistance Center/Questionnaire Assistance Kiosk. By participating, Californians can help their communities secure vital federal funding they need (for things like medical services, senior services, etc.) for the next decade by answering 9 easy, simple and confidential census questions, assisted by QAC set up in front of the participating shops.

  1. I am NOT responding! With the country lurching toward socialism, I don’t want to share info that could make our future East German-like government tell me that I need to share my home with others.
