Thank you for being a hero and helping us to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to serve the families who need us most. Please join us online for our BE A HERO virtual fundraiser, November 13-23, 2020 to raise funds to continue providing much needed services in Anaheim and Cypress and support the challenges we are facing with lack of proper technology equipment and all the challenges that come with our new world. We hope you will join us!
Together we are continuing to provide a safe environment that helps children and teens succeed academically and includes the fun and social activities needed to care for their emotional and physical well-being during the pandemic.
Families such as the Rodriguez’ are counting on us.
“I am so very thankful for the Club. I just adopted my two grandchildren, Lita and Jose, who were in foster care for many years. I don’t know how to help them do their homework on the computer and they are already so behind in school. Their school won’t open classrooms until January and I need them somewhere safe while I go to work. And now because of the Club they are doing their online school and their homework and making friends. The Club is also helping us with groceries and counseling. I am so happy to see my grandchildren becoming happy again. The Club is giving them a new start and helping us to become a family.”
Now, more than ever, local families need HEROES like YOU. You are helping to provide:
- Six Clubhouses open throughout Anaheim and Cypress for 150 K-12th graders
- In-person distance learning support and socially distanced sports, arts and play
- Safety and sanitizing supplies to protect staff and members
- Virtual Clubhouse programs for children and teens who are unable to attend in-person Clubs
- Counseling, parent education, and rent assistance for families in need.
- Food for more than 800 families each week
YOU are making a positive difference in the lives of those who need you most.
Register to bid on auction items anytime from November 13 – 23. Please tune in on November 23 at 6:00pm to listen to some of our kids and teens talk about their Club experiences! For more information, please visit www.theboysandgirlsclub.org.
