October 12, 2020

Traffic Collision – 6:23 a.m. – Grindlay/Evergreen – A vehicle collided with a pedestrian while she was crossing the street. The STAR team was notified and handled the investigation.
Robbery – 9:30 a.m. – Ball/Moody – A male suspect stole the victim’s wallet by force and fled the area. The property was recovered and he was detained by arriving officers.

October 13, 2020

Commercial Burglary – 11:53 a.m. – 5200 block of Lincoln Ave. – A subject driving a blue pickup truck removed the back window of the business and stole over $100,000 in large skin care machines, as well as miscellaneous beauty supplies.
Assist Outside Agency – 7:35 p.m. – Lincoln/Valley View – Tustin PD was involved in a pursuit of a stolen vehicle that was being followed by HB 1 (a law enforcement helicopter). The vehicle had a minor traffic collision into a curb at Lincoln and Valley View. The suspect fled southbound on foot. A Cypress police officer located the suspect attempting to flee through an alley. The suspect was taken into custody without incident and relinquished to Tustin PD.

October 14, 2020

Grand Theft – 12:41 p.m. – 8500 block of Walker St. – Occurred between 10/09/20 and time of call – an unknown suspect(s) stole the victim’s muffler and catalytic converter from his 2003 Honda Accord.
Shoplifting – 6:46 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – From a shoplifting call at Target, a male subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and a second male subject for shoplifting and possession of a stun gun.

October 16, 2020

Grand Theft – 5:05 a.m. – 4700 block of Larwin Avenue – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle. No suspect information.
Vehicle Tampering – 2:15 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Between 2:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle by unknown means, punched the ignition, and damaged the steering column. Damage to the vehicle was estimated at $500.00.
Vehicle Burglary – 3:12 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., an unknown suspect pried open the bed cover on the victim’s truck and stole tools and golf clubs valued at approximately $5000.00.

October 17, 2020

Pedestrian Check – 2:31 a.m. – Ball/Moody – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for providing a fictitious name, possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and a probation hold.
Disturbance (Fight) – 10:59 p.m. – Lincoln/Moody – From a fight call, three subjects were arrested for possession of cocaine, Xanax, and Nitrous Oxide.

October 18, 2020

Assist Outside Agency – 1:53 a.m. – 9700 block of Salisbury Ln. – A resident reported a suspicious vehicle with major traffic collision damage drive and park in front of their residence. Officers arrived and detained a male driver, and it was later determined he was involved in a hit and run traffic collision in the City of Cerritos. LASD Deputies (Cerritos Station) arrived and took over the investigation.
Traffic Stop – 10:44 a.m. – Cerritos/Walker – From a traffic stop, two subjects were arrested for warrants.
