At its November 2020 meeting, the Los Alamitos City Council agenda lists four presentations and many consent calendar items but no regular discussion items.
The four presentations are:
- a presentation of certificates of recognition to the Los Alamitos Police Department for its investigative work regarding the storage unit burglary of Casa Youth Shelter that cleared not only that burglary but others as well;
- a presentation of the Excellence in Government Finance Award from the Government Finance Officers Association to Interim Finance Director Craig Koheler;
- a presentation by Sergeant Chris Lee Regarding the Homeless Liaison Officer Program; and
- a presentation by Orange County Sanitation District providing a project overview for the Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer.
Consent calendar items are considered routine in nature, and are generally voted on in a block unless pulled at the request of a Council member.
The next regular meeting of the Los Alamitos City Council will be on Monday, December 14, 2020. That meeting will include swearing in the new Council members, selectig a new mayor and mayor pro tem, and celebrating the service of newly former Council members, including Mayor Richard Murphy.
