Yesterday’s game against the Utah Utes brought a third win for the Trojans, and this time they remembered to play football for more than the last ten or fifteen minutes of the game.
The Trojans failed to sock away the game early — and failed to take full advantage of five turnovers produced by a defense that did play all four quarters.
But you can’t argue that the final score, 33-17 with no scores for the Utes in the second half, that brought USC win-loss record to 3-1. Utah scored its last seven points on a fumble recover in the second quarter.
Next up is Colorado at home.
