November 16, 2020

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – 1:00 a.m. – Electric/Philo – While sitting in the suspect’s vehicle, the victim was struck in the face numerous times and stabbed in the wrist with a small knife. The suspect left the scene prior to officers’ arrival in a gray vehicle.
Stolen Vehicle – 10:17 a.m. – 4500 block of Lincoln Ave. – Sometime between 6:00 and 7:00 a.m., a suspect stole the victim’s white 2004 truck. The victim believed an associated vehicle to the theft was a black Ford Escape.
Arrest – 7:38 p.m. – From a call for service, a male subject was arrested for burglary and possession of methamphetamine.

November 17, 2020

Graffiti – 6:50 a.m. – 8600 block of Watson – While conducting a patrol check of the park, an officer located graffiti. “VH6R136VPP5” was painted on a parking curb in the north parking lot.
Found Missing Person – 9:45 a.m. – San Diego (Border Patrol Station) – The missing person was contacted and detained prior to crossing the border. San Diego Police responded.

November 18, 2020

Burglary – 8:22 a.m. – 6800 block of International – Sometime overnight, a suspect(s) removed the glass door to the business, but failed to make entry into the business due to a secondary metal security door. There was no loss.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 11:45 a.m. – 4000 block of Myra Ave. – A Police Aide located a stolen red 2001 Ford Taurus parked and unoccupied. The vehicle had been reported stolen out of Los Angeles on 11/10/20. Efforts to contact the registered owner went unanswered and the vehicle was removed from the stolen vehicle system and stored.
Grand Theft from a Vehicle – 4:58 p.m. – 95XX Graham – Between 11/10/20 and 11/17/20 an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Toyota Prius, valued at $1000. No suspect info.

November 19, 2020

Rape Investigation – 8:20 a.m. – The victim reported that he was sexually assaulted by a female who he met online.
Burglary – 2:46 p.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – Between 11-02-20 and time of call, an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s storage unit and stole approximately $20,000.00 worth of miscellaneous property.
Arrest – 6:56 p.m. – 8600 block of Watson St. – During a child custody incident, the ex-wife pepper-sprayed her ex-husband in front of their two small children.

November 20, 2020

Vehicle Burglary – 3:26 a.m. – 4200 block of Manchester Pl. – Minutes before the time of call, a neighbor observed a suspect burglarize a 2020 Toyota that was parked on the street. The suspect shattered the victim’s window to gain entry. The neighbor yelled at the suspect and he fled the area in a white lowered vehicle with black trim on the bottom and a loud exhaust. The suspect was described as a male white wearing a white painter suit with the hood on. The loss was approximately $5.00 in change.
Vandalism – 10:12 a.m. – 9000 block of Denni St. – The victim had her vehicle tires slashed by named suspects, causing $600.00 worth of damage. The suspects fled westbound on Lincoln Avenue in a silver Kia.
Arson – 11:22 p.m. – 5500 block of Ball Rd. – A fire was observed to the rear of the business, near the neighboring empty lot. OCFA responded and put the fire out. Arson investigators responded and suspected the fire was arson. No suspect(s) located in the area and the fire appeared to have come from a small transient encampment, which was located in the empty lot. The damage from the fire consisted of trees, an electrical box, and the wall.

November 21, 2020

Grand Theft from a Vehicle – 10:14 a.m. – 9400 block of Alderbury – At approximately 8:20 a.m., an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s 2001 Jeep. Video surveillance identified a black four-door Mercedes as a possible suspect vehicle.
Attempt Grand Theft from a Vehicle – 10:56 a.m. – 4000 block of Bryant Court – An unknown suspect attempted to remove the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle. A possible suspect was described as a male Hispanic driving a black four-door Mercedes. This suspect vehicle matched the description of the suspect vehicle listed in the above theft on Alderbury. Suspect was last seen northbound on Bloomfield.
Assault – 6:50 p.m. – 4600 block of Shasta Cir. – Officers responded after an adult grandson assaulted his elderly grandparents with a cast-iron skillet and then brandished a knife. When officers arrived, they were able to handcuff the subject without incident. The subject was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and elder abuse.

November 22, 2020

Car Club – 12:20 a.m. – 10700 block of Holder St. – A car club with approximately 100 vehicles arrived in the area and began setting fireworks off. Once officers arrived, the vehicles dispersed and left the area. Officers stopped some of the vehicles that left and cited the drivers for various traffic offenses.
Arrest – 11:32 a.m. – 4800 block of Larwin Avenue – From a call for service at the location, a subject was arrested for domestic violence.
