November 12, 2020

Indecent Exposure – 11:00 a.m. – Crescent/Salisbury – A subject was reportedly laying on the sidewalk and masturbating. Police arrested a 58-year-old subject for indecent exposure, resisting an officer and a local bench warrant.
Suspicious Subjects – 1:27 p.m. – 5500 block of La Palma Ave. – Two subjects were reportedly recording people at the location. The subjects were so far on the sidewalk and not on private property. Reporting party advised.

November 13, 2020

Found Property – 11:13 a.m. – 4600 block of Sharon Dr. – The reporting party requested that a found box of ammunition be destroyed.
Found Property – 11:31 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A wallet was reportedly found containing credit cars and $1595 in cash. Report taken.

November 14, 2020

Disturbance (Neighbors) – 11:44 a.m. – 5700 block of Warwick Cir. – The caller reported a disturbance between neighbors. The caller was watering his lawn when his neighbor turned off the caller’s water. The caller stated that his neighbor and his workers were ganging up on him. Both parties were counseled.
Fire – 10:10 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Coyote Creek – Black smoke was reportedly seen in the area. Smoke was coming from under the bridge. Police were unable to extinguish the fire. LA County Fire and OCFA were notified. Public Works was requested to come out to check the structural integrity of the bridge. Public Works stated that the bridge was maintenanced by Los Angeles County Public Works. Dispatch was requested to contact LASO or LA County Fire to get LA County Public Works out to check the bridge. A SigAlert was requested for Orangethorpe. A subject was transported to the hospital by ambulance.

November 15, 2020

Municipal Code Violation – 6:43 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – The caller reported a complaint regarding a delivery truck to the rear of the business with an engine idling in violation of the City’s Municipal Code. Citation issued.
Suspicious Circumstances – 11:25 p.m. – 7700 block of Valley View St. – The reporting party could hear loud banging on the walls and possibly two to three children crying for approximately 30 minutes. Police contacted a subject at the location with a five-year-old and two-year-old twins. Party advised and will comply.

November 16, 2020

Welfare Check – 8:31 a.m. – Moody/Via Helena – A male subject was reportedly passed out face down on the sidewalk. Police located the subject, who was conscious and breathing. The subject complained of pain to legs and arms and was transported to the hospital. Probation declined to place a hold on the subject.
Suspicious Subject – 1:44 p.m. – 5500 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The reporting party observed a female subject at a gas station taking a shower with a window washer. Party advised and will comply.
Incident Report – 9:15 a.m. – Orleans/Houston – The reporting party placed outgoing mail with bills in the mailbox on Sunday at 8 p.m. The reporting party just discovered outgoing mail at the house ripped open. Four different checks were mailed out and the reporting party only had two. The reporting party was counseled. The mailboxes checked okay.

November 17, 2020

Suspicious Circumstances – 11:17 a.m. – Centerpointe – A female subject believed that an old friend was following her and advised that the subject had hit her in the past. Call transferred to Buena Park.
Traffic Stop – 9:32 p.m. – Walker/Orangethorpe – During a traffic stop, the subject admitted to having drugs in his vehicle. A 40-year-old male subject was arrested for possession of controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.

November 18, 2020

Petty Theft – 10:20 a.m. – La Palma/Walker – A 12-pack of beer was reportedly stolen from a delivery truck. The suspect dropped the beer and was detained at gunpoint. The reporting party did not desire prosecution. A 34-year-old male subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Mechanical/Equipment Disturbance – 9:10 p.m. – 5200 block of Van Dyke Cir. – Police responded to a complaint of construction noise. It was determined that a homeowner was doing emergency water heater repair. The subject would be closing the garage and finishing the repair.
