November 23, 2020

Catalytic Converter Theft – 12:16 p.m. – 5600 block of Cerritos Ave. – Sometime between 11/11/20 and 11/19/20, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Toyota, valued at $1000.
Theft Investigation – 2:44 p.m. – 6000 block of Ball Rd. – Upon contact during a theft investigation, a male subject immediately fled on foot from officers. The officers caught the subject to the rear of a location on the 6100 block of Ball Rd., where he was arrested for resist/delaying an officer.

November 24, 2020

Assault with a Deadly Weapon – 5:02 a.m. – 5500 block of Vonnie – Officers were dispatched to the above location regarding a subject who stated he could not breathe and was possibly shot. Officers located the victim on the ground with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was transported to a hospital for his injuries.
Domestic Violence – 1:17 p.m. – 9500 block of Valley View St. – The victim was struck and bit by his wife, who fled in the family’s gold Kia Rio (with rear end TC damage and no rear license plate) prior to officers’ arrival. An emergency protection order was obtained but not served.
Stolen Vehicle – 5:40 p.m. – 5200 block of Lincoln Ave. – The victim’s 2012 Honda Accord was stolen overnight. No suspect information and vehicle entered into the Stolen Vehicle System.

November 25, 2020

Catalytic Converter Theft – 11:54 a.m. – 4500 block of Larwin – Sometime between 11/13/20 and today at 0700 hours, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s gray Toyota Sequoia. The loss was estimated at $1000.
Vehicle Tampering/Petty Theft – 8:28 p.m. – 9000 block of Holder – Two male subjects were interrupted by a neighbor while attempting to remove the wheels off a white Honda Accord. They succeeded in stealing the lug nuts off the two front tires before fleeing in a tan Toyota RAV 4.

November 26, 2020

Vehicle Burglary – 8:01 a.m. – 9600 block of Walker St. – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect forced entry into the victim’s vehicle by smashing the rear window. No loss was reported.
Warrant Service – 1:29 p.m. – 6100 block of Leyte St. – From a warrant service, a female subject was arrested for a parole violation warrant and resisting/delaying arrest.

November 27, 2020

Vehicle Burglary – 7:03 a.m. – 4900 block of Katella Ave. –Between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., an unknown suspect gained entry into the victim’s vehicle by smashing the rear passenger side window. Loss was a backpack containing a laptop computer valued at $1200.00.
Grand Theft from a Vehicle – 4:09 p.m. – 4900 block of Katella Ave. – Between 12:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole electronics, a child’s car seat, and medical supplies valued at approximately $3000.00.
Criminal Threats – 11:57 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield Ave. – The victim stated a former roommate arrived at the location to pick up items that were left behind and an argument ensued between the two. Subject went back to his vehicle, brandished a firearm, and threatened to kill the victim. Subject fled the residence and did not return.

November 28, 2020

Pedestrian Check – 3:58 a.m. – 5000 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Vehicle Theft – 1:13 p.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – Between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s white 2002 Ford F-250 XLT.

November 29, 2020

Grand Theft from a Vehicle – 12:52 p.m. – Grindlay St. – Between 12:45 p.m. and 12:50 p.m., a male Hispanic stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s Honda Accord. The suspect was observed fleeing the location.
Residential Burglary Arrest – 2:02 p.m. – 6100 block of Barbados – The victim reported that a male suspect entered his garage and stole a bicycle. The victim confronted the suspect and was able to recover his bicycle. The suspect fled the area on foot and was located by officers in the area of Knott and Recycle Way. The suspect was positively identified by the victim during an in-field show-up. The subject was placed under arrest for residential burglary and a probation hold. The subject was booked and transported to OCJ.
