Assemblywoman Janet Nguyen wishes everyone a happy New Year

Dear Friends,

We made it past 2020 and can now look onto 2021 with hope and excitement for what the new year will bring. I would like to wish you and your family a happy, healthy and successful 2021.

In 2020, we came together as a community of heroes to help each other by donating our time, money and resources to others who might not be able to get daily necessary items. More than ever we saw health care workers, public safety, schools workers, truck drivers, grocery store employees, and so many essential workers continue to provide, care, and protect our communities during this most critical time.

2020 brought uncertainty and devastation to many, but I believe we will see our hard work pay off in 2021.

My Assembly New Year’s Resolutions are to:

  • re-open our economy and help small businesses recover,
  • improve our schools and protect our children’s future,
  • repeal AB 5 and create more jobs

I hope you enjoyed a holiday season filled with love and laughter and thank you for continuing to follow health and safety guidelines so we can all keep our family and loved ones safe. When possible, please join my family and I in supporting our local businesses who have suffered great hardships through this pandemic. It takes all of us to make sure our community can get out of this pandemic stronger than ever.

Thank you for allowing me the honor to serve as your State Assemblywoman, and I look forward to representing you in the coming year!

Here’s to 2021!!! Happy New Year!
