Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva announces 2021-22 Committee assignments

Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva (D – Fullerton) has recently been appointed by Speaker Anthony Rendon (D – Lakewood) to serve as the Chair on the Committee on Arts, Entertainment, Sports, Tourism, and Internet Media for the 2021-22 Legislative Session. Quirk-Silva has also been re-appointed to serve on her previous committees.

“As Chair of the Committee on Arts, Entertainment, Sports, Tourism, and Internet Media I am committed to focusing on California’s post-pandemic future as it takes shape,” said Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva. “Reviving our tourism and travel industry will play a vital role in restarting the economy and empowering the state. I look forward to working with my fellow committee members in addressing these concerns and passing vital legislation that will benefit my constituents and Californians.”

Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva remains a member of the following committees: Communications and Conveyance; Governmental Organization; Housing and Community Development; and Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy.

  1. I am for putting liberal Sharon Quirk-Silva on these committees. In fact, let’s put her on even more committees. Then she will be so busy that she won’t have time to pass tax increases, which is what Democrats like todo.
