Beginning today, Monday, February 1, Morningside retirement community residents and staff will roll up their sleeves once again to receive the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine. A 102-year-old resident will be among those receiving the vaccine.

A couple of weeks ago, residents and staff at Morningside retirement community did their part to #MoveForward and help put an end to the COVID-19 pandemic by receiving their first round of vaccinations. You could feel the spirit of the community as 500 residents and staff proudly displayed “I Got My COVID-19 Vaccine!” stickers on their shirts. They held up signs sharing why they are excited to move forward and celebrated by hitting COVID-19-shaped piñatas.
