McDonald’s Southern California franchisees are offering a free small coffee and Egg McMuffin to COVID-19 responders every Thursday this month with a new “Thank You Thursdays” program available at more than 700 locally owned and operated McDonald’s restaurants throughout the Southland. Starting Feb. 4 through Feb. 25, any hospital and healthcare worker, police officer or firefighter with ID or badge can redeem the offer at the drive-thru or via takeout during breakfast hours at participating McDonald’s restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties.
“In SoCal, the impacts of COVID-19 remain profound and the efforts of our frontline responder community have been nothing short of extraordinary,” said Richard Shalhoub, association president of the local McDonald’s franchisee group and owner of 31 McDonald’s restaurants in Palm Springs/Riverside County. “By offering a small measure of appreciation and warm breakfast, McDonald’s SoCal franchisees hope to extend our deepest gratitude to the heroes in our community giving us their all.”
This offer is available on Thursdays, Feb. 4 – Feb. 25 during breakfast hours, 5:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. at participating McDonald’s restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura counties.
