February 1, 2021

Traffic Stop – 10:24 p.m. – Cerritos/Bloomfield – From a traffic stop, a subject was arrested for possession of narcotics and a second subject was arrested for outstanding warrants, possession of narcotics and a methamphetamine pipe.

February 2, 2021

Burglary – 8:43 a.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – Between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s room by unknown means and stole a school owned iPad.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 12:52 p.m. – 6500 block of Jaluit – A suspect stole the victim’s catalytic converter from a 2004 Honda Accord. The theft was captured on video surveillance; loss was estimated over $1000.

February 3, 2021

Vehicle Theft – 1:06 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield Ave. – Between 12:40 p.m. and time of call, the victim’s gray 2014 Nissan Versa was stolen. The vehicle had been left running at the time. The vehicle was entered into the stolen vehicle system, and Control One provided a red channel broadcast of the theft.
Grand Theft Report – 11:59 p.m. – 4300 block of Casa Grande – Between 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., the victim’s wheels were stolen from his gray 2016 Toyota Camry while it was parked in the carport.

February 4, 2021

Stolen Vehicle (Attempted) – 6:04 a.m. – 10000 block of Lorraine Ln. – At approximately 4:40 a.m., an unknown suspect attempted to steal the victim’s vehicle by using an unrelated key. No forced entry as the vehicle was left unlocked by the victim and the suspect left the key in the ignition. The incident was captured on surveillance and suspect described as a male wearing all dark clothing.
Warrant Service – 8:52 p.m. – 4000 block of Cheshire Dr. – From a warrant service, a male subject was arrested for two outstanding warrants and possession of a controlled substance.

February 5, 2021

Vehicle Theft – 1:18 a.m. – 5900 block of Corporate Ave. – Between 9 p.m. and 1:10 a.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s vehicle from the parking lot. Another City was in pursuit of this vehicle earlier in the evening prior to the vehicle being reported stolen. The pursuit was terminated and the suspect was not taken into custody. The vehicle and suspect are still outstanding.
Vehicle Check – 3:53 p.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – From a self-initiated vehicle check, a male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and 4 outstanding warrants, including a no-bail parole violation warrant. Also arrested was a second male subject for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
Arrest – 7:24 p.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – Earlier in day, officers contacted a female subject and she was advised of trespassing after refusing to pay for her room. The subject returned to the motel and broke a window and re-entered the room to retrieve her property. The subject was contacted and placed under arrest for vandalism.

February 6, 2021

Catalytic Converter Theft – 1:10 p.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – Between 7:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., unknown suspect stole the victim’s catalytic converter from his 2009 Toyota Prius in Lot 5 of the College.
Injury on City Property – 4:06 p.m. – 9600 Juanita St. – The reporting party reported being injured while at the park after her leashed dogs pulled her down and she hit her head and shoulder on the brick wall.

February 7, 2021

Carport Burglary – 9:37 a.m. – 9000 block of Moody St. – At 3:30 a.m., the victim heard a loud noise in her carport. When she went to investigate, she found her storage cabinet had been forced open and the property inside was stolen. Loss was $250 in miscellaneous items.
Stolen Vehicle – 11:04 a.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield Ave. – The victim’s green 1998 Chevy Silverado was stolen sometime during the past few days. The vehicle was parked on Bloomfield south of Lincoln.
