Previously, she served on the Newport Mesa Unified School District Board of Trustees for 4 years.

  1. John Moorlach is the only sane choice. He save our county after the bankruptcy, pulling us out of it in record time. He did a fantastic job in Sacramento. So sad the GOVERNMENT unions spent millions & millions to get a Democrat to beat him. All to protect their lavish pensions. The upside is Orange Country needs John Moorlach now. The Deputy Sheriffs are running a horrible smear campaign against Moorlach. Robocalls & mailers. Again, this is all about the government unions wanting to protect their pensions. Don’t be fooled. The Democrats promise the unions the moon and the taxpayers are left holding the bag. Do not be fooled. VOTE FOR JOHN MOORLACH FOR SUPERVISOR.

    1. John Moorlach is a sleepy career politician who has been feeding on the public’s dime for decades. He protected Assemblyman Bill Brough from scrutiny in a sexual harassment inquiry, just like Republicans do for their fellow lawbreakers in Washington. Go with Micheal Vo he knows how to get things done and with integrity

      1. Vanessa,

Thank you for reading Orange County Breeze, and for taking the time to comment on thhis article.

Your comments concerning John Moorlach echo a hit-piece mailer on Moorlach, who has been the target of public unions since he was first elected as County Supervisor for District 2. At that time, he tried to unwind a sweetheart deal with the union representing Orange County Sheriff’s Deputies. His effort ultimately failed, and residents of Orange County are living with the increased pension debt. The smear campaign by the Deputies’ union is a blotch on the reputation of the union, not on John Moorlach. Union members should be ashamed.

No. Mr. Moorlach is meticulous about numbers, and can make budget wrecks hilarious as you realize just how deep a pile of steaming poop we’re all standing in. He does so without raising his voice, or throwing shade, or slinging mud.

        “Career politician?”

He was the only person to insist that Orange County was headed for a disaster prior to the bankruptcy. He kept saying it right up until bankruptcy had to be declared. When asked, he led the effort to clean up the mess.

I have nothing against Michael Vo, except that he is willfully splitting the vote and likely handing the seat to Katrina Foley, a Democrat.

We do not need more Democrats in Orange County. We do not need more Democrats in California.

We need more balance, and John Moorlach is one of the most balanced individuals that I have ever met.

Personally (because Orange County Breeze does not give political endorsements) I support John Moorlach, and will vote for John Moorlach in the special election.

Again, thank you for reading Orange County Breeze.

  2. Why would anyone want to be represented by a socialist? I Prefer that the people who represent me believe in a capitalist United States. I am voting Republican & leaning toward John Moorlach.

  3. Of course Planned Parenthood, in the business of killing babies, supports a Socialist. This isn’t news.
