OC Coroner reports two separate pedestrian deaths, both in Westminster

According to the Orange County Coroner, two separate incidents on different days each resulted in the death of a pedestrian after being struck by a vehicle.

On Sunday, February 7, an unnamed male aged 74 was struck shortly after 5:30 p.m. by a vehicle in Westminster. The victim was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where he died about an hour after being struck.

On Thursday, February 11, Loan Nguyen, an 89-year-old woman, was struck by a vehicle just before 7:30 p.m. in Westminster. The victim was transported to UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange, where she died shortly after 1 p.m. the next day.

The Westminster Police Department is investigating both incidents.
