March 4, 2021
Stolen Vehicle Report – 7:11 a.m. – 5700 block of Fresca Dr. – A CHP deputy was out with an unreported stolen forklift with suspects on the scene. The CHP had responded for a traffic collision. Three subjects were detained in cuffs. A motorcycle was also possibly stolen. A 33-year-old Monterey Park resident and a 29-year-old Huntington Park resident were arrested for conspiracy and vehicle theft and a 27-year-old Los Angeles resident was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Petty Theft Report – 5:34 p.m. – 7500 block of Kevin Ln. – Property valued at $10 was reportedly stolen from an unlocked vehicle overnight. The reporting party had surveillance.
March 5, 2021
Vehicle Check – 5:23 p.m. – 7900 block of Valley View St. – Police checked an unoccupied black Range Rover with paper plates. They subsequently began surveillance of the vehicle, which was reported stolen to the Inglewood Police Department. A female employee at a nearby business had no information regarding the vehicle and it was unknown how long it had been there; however, the hood was still warm earlier. A subject attempted to drive the vehicle away and was subsequently detained at gunpoint. A 21-year-old female subject was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle. A large amount of cosmetics were found in the vehicle and WestComm was requested to see if there were any reported thefts in their jurisdiction. Employees from a Walgreens reported that the cosmetics were stolen from their location. The female subject later had receiving stolen property, shoplifting, and appropriating lost property, as well as grand theft and burglary added to her offenses.
Transient – 10:40 a.m. – 5100 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A transient subject reportedly took business signs down in the complex. The subject also made statements to the reporting party that made her feel uncomfortable and left belongings behind in the complex. Party advised and will comply.
March 6, 2021
Traffic Stop – 7:49 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Centerpointe – Police conducted a traffic stop on a female subject, who verbally admitted to seeing a male subject while he was at work, in violation of a court order. The female was subsequently arrested for stalking while under a restraining order and contempt of court/violation of a court order.
Disturbance (Music) – 7:51 p.m. – 7500 block of Anthony Cir. – The caller reported a complaint regarding a band practicing in a garage. When police arrived at the location, they could not hear any noise. After a door knock, it was determined that the band stopped playing music approximately 30 minutes prior and were done for the evening.
March 7, 2021
Assist Other Department – 9:53 a.m. – 6900 block of La Palma Ave. (Buena Park) – Buena Park Police Department confirmed that a robbery had just occurred at the business. The subject was armed with a firearm. La Palma Police assisted with an area check but was unable to locate the subject.
Municipal Code Violation – 12:48 p.m. – Walker/Marview – A male subject was reportedly observed urinating at the location. The caller did not desire prosecution and requested that the subject be counseled. Police contacted the subject and conducted a search. A 46-year-old male was subsequently arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
March 8, 2021
Petty Theft Report – 7:47 a.m. – 5700 block of Parkwest Cir. – The caller reported the theft of packages from the porch. The loss was valued at $100. The reporting party had surveillance of the incident. Report taken.
Disturbance (Subject) – 4:29 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A male subject on a motorcycle reportedly attempted to assault the caller. Both parties were counseled over a road rage incident.
March 9, 2021
Petty Theft Report – 10:02 a.m. – 5000 block of Pine Cir. – An unlocked vehicle was reportedly broken into overnight. The loss at this time was various clothing items, an instapot, an old iPhone (not in service), speakers, and a bottle of tequila. No prosecution was desired. The reporting party was an Arizona resident and would be returning there shortly. Extra patrol checks would be provided in the area.
Traffic Collision – 7:02 p.m. – Valley View/Fresca – Two females were possibly stuck in a vehicle. There was major traffic collision damage at Valley View/Fresca. Valley View north of Orangethorpe and south of 183rd was shut down. Fresca in both directions was also shut down. Subjects were transported to the hospital. The STAR accident investigation team was notified. A blood tech was requested for a blood draw at the hospital, and a McNeely warrant was submitted and approved for the blood draw. Two flatbed trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the scene. The vehicles were removed shortly after 4 a.m.
March 10, 2021
Counseling – 6:14 p.m. – 7792 Walker St. (La Palma Police Department) – The reporting party advised that a male subject was harassing him over his computer and claimed that the subject was changing his apps and icons.
Reckless Driving – 8:08 p.m. – Walker/La Palma – The caller reported a vehicle driving westbound on La Palma; the caller believed it to be traveling at over 120 miles per hour. LASO Cerritos notified. Buena Park did not report any calls regarding the vehicle. Police were unable to locate the vehicle on a patrol check from Walker to the bridge at the county line.
