March 15, 2021

Burglary – 6:44 a.m. – 4700 block of Katella Ave. – Sometime between 9 p.m. on Sunday and time of call, an unknown suspect stole tools and copper fittings from the job site storage container.
Commercial Burglary – 7:10 a.m. – 4600 block of Lincoln Ave. – Sometime over the weekend, an unknown suspect entered the business through unknown means, and ransacked the entire building. The loss was unknown at this time.
Incident Report – 11:05 p.m. – 4900 block of Katella Ave. – Officers responded to the northeast portion of the parking lot for a report of an explosion and a trailer on fire. Upon arrival, officers located an empty horse trailer on fire. OCFA responded and the cause was undetermined.

March 16, 2021

Pedestrian Check – 12:07 a.m. – Lincoln/Moody – From a pedestrian check, a female subject was arrested for a dirk or dagger and possession of paraphernalia.
Vehicle Check – 12:13 a.m. – Bloomfield/Lincoln – From a vehicle check, a male subject was arrested for a felon in possession of a firearm, a probation hold, possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.

March 17, 2021

Catalytic Converter Theft – 6:47 a.m. – 4800 block of Corsica – The victim reported the catalytic converter was just stolen from his vehicle. The suspects were described as 2 Hispanic males, last seen fleeing in a dark gray Dodge Challenger. Despite the quick response, officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
Grand Theft – 3:18 p.m. – 6200 block of Phyllis – While a delivery driver was stopped to make a delivery and was away from his vehicle, three Hispanic males, stole $46K worth of new electronics from his truck. The crime was committed within three minutes. The suspects were last seen fleeing in a white Dodge Sprinter van.

March 18, 2021

Vandalism – 10:53 a.m. – Peach/Orange – Detectives were in the area when they observed a male juvenile spray-painting “UNA” on the alley wall. Officers responded and arrested the Juvenile for felony vandalism.

March 19, 2021

Traffic Stop – 12:50 a.m. – Katella/Hope – From a traffic stop, a male subject was arrested for an outstanding theft warrant. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 4:06 a.m. – 9200 block of Bloomfield – Between 3:55 and 4:05 a.m., an unknown stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s 2005 Honda Accord.
Domestic Violence – 11:20 p.m. – 5500 block of Newman St. – Officers placed a male subject under arrest for felony domestic violence after he struck his girlfriend in the face causing visible injuries. An emergency protection order was obtained. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.

March 20, 2021

Traffic Collision – 12:04 a.m. – Ball/Moody – A Tesla and a Porsche collided in the intersection. One driver complained of pain.
Arrest – 10:47 a.m. – Valley View/Fred – A male subject sexually assaulted the juvenile victim on Friday, 3/19/21 in a commercial parking lot in Cypress. The subject was awaiting court proceedings for a previous sexual assault case involving this same victim, when he re-offended. The Criminal Investigative Bureau was notified and Detectives responded and assisted with the investigation. Detectives and officers arrested the subject for forcible oral copulation of a minor. The subject was booked at Orange County Jail.
Theft – 5:23 p.m. – 10000 block of Valley View St. –From a theft in progress, officers arrested a male subject for grand theft, possession of a controlled substance, providing false identification, and an outstanding warrant.

March 21, 2021

Arrest – 4:19 p.m. – Walker/Orange – From a call for service of a reckless driver and a non-injury traffic collision, Officers arrested a subject for DUI. Due to the subject’s inability to perform a breath test, a McNeely warrant was obtained for a blood draw. The subject was transported to OCJ for booking.
Child Abuse Report – 8:06 p.m. – 9000 block of Holder – Officers took a report of a two year old who had bruising on her shins after spending the weekend with her father and his new wife who reside at the above address. The mother and father are in the middle of a custody battle. Child Protective Services was notified.
Found Property – 11:36 p.m. – 4300 block of Casa Grande – The resident received a package in his
mailbox on Saturday for a subject by a different name and when he opened it tonight, it appeared to be a pound of narcotics. The named subject does not live at the address and it is unknown if he did previously. Narcotics booked for destruction.
