Orange County Clerk-Recorder resumes walk-in service at Anaheim, Laguna Hills, Santa Ana office locations

Orange County Clerk-Recorder Hugh Nguyen is excited to announce the resumption of walk-in service at the department’s office locations in Anaheim, Laguna Hills, and Santa Ana. Appointments will no longer be needed to obtain the department’s services, except for marriage services. Real property document recording services will only be available at the department’s County Service Center office location in Santa Ana. Passport services will not be available at any of the department’s locations until further notice. The department will continue to implement social distancing guidelines and steps recommended by local and state health authorities at all locations.

Marriage services will be available by appointment only at the Old County Courthouse in Santa Ana and the department’s North and South County branch offices in Anaheim and Laguna Hills until further notice. Customers MUST complete an online marriage application and make an appointment at OCRecorder.com prior to visiting any office location.

“I am excited to offer all of the department’s services to walk-in customers at all of our office locations once again,” said Clerk-Recorder Hugh Nguyen. “We have continued to work hard for the public during these challenging times. Providing walk-in, over the counter service has been one of our goals. I would like to thank my staff for their hard work and for helping make walk-in service available again.”

The following services will be available to walk-in customers at the County Service Center in Santa Ana: birth, death, and marriage records, fictitious business name statements, real property document recordings, copies of official records, notary public registrations and oaths, all professional registrations and EIR filings. Customers MUST complete an online application at OCRecorder.com prior to visiting this location to request available services. No application is needed for real property recordings.

The following services will be available to walk-in customers at the department’s North and South County branch offices in Anaheim and Laguna Hills: birth, death, and marriage records, fictitious business name statements, copies of official records, notary public registrations and oaths, and EIR filings. No real property document recording services will be available at these locations until further notice. Customers MUST complete an online application at OCRecorder.com prior to visiting any of these locations to request available services.
