March 29, 2021

Bike Stop – 10:52 p.m. – 6100 block of Lincoln Ave. – A Cypress Officer attempted to stop a subject on a bicycle; however, the subject failed to stop. He eventually was stopped at Lincoln and Holder and a male subject was arrested for possession of a dirk or dagger and resist/delay an officer.
Disturbance (Subject) – 10:55 p.m. – 9300 block of Valley View St. – From a call for service regarding a subject acting strangely and threatening the family, officers contacted a male subject who did not
listen to commands, and began to charge officers at which time the Taser was deployed. The subject was handcuffed without incident and he was transported to the hospital where he was released to the care of the hospital staff and cited for resisting arrest.

March 30, 2021

Suspicious Vehicle – 12:46 a.m. – Santa Clara/Teresa – From a call for service regarding a suspicious vehicle, a subject was arrested for two outstanding warrants.
Vehicle Burglary – 7:00 a.m. – 4900 block of Katella Ave. – Between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m., an unknown suspect shattered the rear passenger window and stole a wallet valued at $500.

March 31, 2021

Burglary – 3:53 a.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – From a call of three suspicious subjects in the area seen via a live feed, officers located a window smash to the business. Unknown loss at the time of the writing. Unknown if the subjects are related to the burglary.
Grand Theft – 10:40 a.m. – 4400 block of Lincoln Ave. – Sometime over the past week, an unknown
suspect(s) stole six catalytic converters from vehicles parked at or belonging to the business. The vehicles were two Ford Econoline vans and four Toyota Sienna vans. The estimated loss valued at $5000.00.
Suspicious Subject – 1:45 p.m. – 8400 block of Martinique – A citizen reported seeing a subject in his rear yard on a surveillance camera. During a search of the area, the subject fled over a wall and police pursued him on foot. A male subject was taken into custody on Denni, north of Crescent. He was arrested for resisting arrest and a felony warrant. He was booked at Orange County Jail.

April 1, 2021

Pursuit – 10:31 a.m. – Walker/Danny – Police attempted to stop a wrong way driver riding an off-road motorcycle. The rider fled from police through several streets and Cypress College. The subject was eventually stopped at Lincoln Avenue and Holder Street and taken into custody without incident.
Flag Down – 12:27 p.m. – 9100 block of Bloomfield Ave. – While Detectives were conducting follow-up, citizens flagged them down regarding the listed location. Upon arrival, Detectives found active fisticuffs and one of the subjects holding a hammer. Ultimately, Detectives arrested a male subject for assault with a deadly weapon

April 2, 2021

Grand Theft – 1:28 p.m. – 6200 block of Lincoln Ave. – The victim’s catalytic converter was stolen from his gold Ford 250 truck at approximately 9:30 a.m. The theft was caught on surveillance and the suspects appeared to be associated to a room.
Criminal Threats – 5:32 p.m. – 5000 block of Cerritos Ave. – An unknown suspect called the business and began to make threats towards employees stating he was going to shoot up the business. The phone number the suspect called from was unknown to the victim. Report taken.

April 3, 2021

Traffic Stop – 1:28 a.m. – Knott/Katella – From a traffic stop, Officers arrested a female subject for an outstanding warrant. She was transported and booked at Orange County Jail. A male subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Subject was cited and released in the field.
Traffic Stop – 1:30 p.m. – Cerritos/Walker – From a traffic stop, Officers arrested a male subject for possession of narcotics and paraphernalia and Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene to pick him up on an outstanding narcotics warrant. The male subject was cited and released for the narcotics and released to LASO on the warrant.

April 4, 2021

Traffic Stop – 2:54 a.m. – Knott/Cerritos – From a traffic stop, Officers arrested a male subject for possession of metal knuckles, possession of an imitation firearm, possession of a Billy club, and resisting/delaying a peace officer. The ubject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.
Vandalism – 7:07 a.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – A City fleet vehicle was vandalized by black spray paint covering the entire driver side of the vehicle. Public Works was able to remove the paint before permanent damage was suffered.
Theft – 2:55 p.m. – 6300 block of Mount Ripley Dr. – The reporting party called to report that a male subject and a female subject posed as Southern California Edison employees and gained access to the upstairs where they stole the victim’s debit card.
