April 1, 2021

Burglary – 12:47 p.m. – 5500 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Two male subjects reportedly smashed a window and stole approximately $3000 in cash.
Extra Patrol Checks – 2:37 p.m. – 5500 block of Fresca Dr. – A vehicle reportedly does 80-90 MPH down Fresca multiple times a day. The reporting party believed that the subject works in the area and leaves everyday around 2:30 p.m. Extra patrol checks requested during business hours.

April 2, 2021

Suspicious Circumstances – 5:27 p.m. – La Palma/Walker – The reporting party advised that a subject pointed a gun at him. The reporting party later stated that the subject pointed an object he believed to be a gun at him. The reporting party took a rideshare home. No crime at this time. No report taken.
Suspicious Circumstances – 5:41 p.m. – 5300 block of La Palma Ave. – A confused elderly man was reportedly checking door handles and asking where his home was. The subject was assisted with a taxi to the city of Orange.

April 3, 2021

Suspicious Circumstances – 12:42 a.m. – 8100 block of Moody St. – An unknown subject was reportedly throwing up and drinking in the parking lot. Police contacted a subject, who did not require any medical attention.
Pedestrian Check – 7:09 p.m. – 5600 block of Fresca Dr. – Police contacted a female subject, who was subsequently arrested for giving a false ID to police, possession of a controlled substance, and outstanding warrants. She was positively identified through fingerprints and booked at Orange County Jail.

April 4, 2021

Petty Theft Report – 6:40 a.m. – 5400 block of Bransford Dr. – A bicycle was reportedly stolen from in front of the residence near the front patio. The bicycle was not secured. The reporting party had video surveillance of a male subject with a large build riding off at approximately 2:08 a.m. and then returning to attempt to steal other bicycles at the location. The loss was valued at approximately $300 to $500. Report taken.
Animal Call – 9:11 a.m. – 7821 Walker St. (Central Park) – A German shepherd was reportedly in an open area of the park and not leashed. Police contacted the owner, who advised that the dog had been off-leash for a few minutes. Counseled.
Welfare Check – 4:07 p.m. – 7200 block of Bourbon Ln. – A female reportedly called 911 stating over and over “I can’t hear you and come over.” Police made contact with an extremely intoxicated female subject who declined any type of medical attention. She was advised that calling 911 for no emergency was a crime. The female had called 911 because she was concerned that her property value was going down to to construction to the rear of her residence.

April 5, 2021

Suspicious Circumstances – 1:33 a.m. – South/Moody (Cerritos) – An unknown subject with a flashlight reportedly entered the construction area. The caller believed that he was putting gas in the generator. Police contacted the subject, who was determined to be from a company that fills up generator for construction sites. The subject showed officers the work order.
Traffic Stop – 10:16 a.m. – Walker/La Palma – Following a traffic stop, police arrested a 20-year-old male subject for possession of paraphernalia, drug possession, and and outstanding warrant.
Traffic Stop – 9:44 p.m. – Valley View/Fresca (Buena Park) – Following a traffic stop, police arrested a 32-year-old Norco resident for driving on a suspended/revoked license for DUI and outstanding warrants. There was a 7-year-old child in the vehicle and police made arrangements for the child’s father to pick up the child. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.

April 6, 2021

Suspicious Subject – 10:05 a.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – A subject was reportedly laying down near the drive thru area. The subject was interested in transient resources.
Vandalism – 6:46 p.m. – 8300 block of Suffield St. – Four juveniles were reportedly spray painting on the rear wall. Police contacted four subjects. One subject was positively identified. Police arrested a 16-year-old subject for vandalism. The subject was released to the custody of his mother.

April 7, 2021

Counseling – 11:01 a.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – Pepper spray was reportedly put on the caller’s vehicle door handle. The reporting party believed that her upstairs neighbor was responsible due to a previous “door slamming match.” Counseled.
Welfare Check – 5:33 p.m. – 5100 block of Banbury Cir. – The caller reportedly heard a neighbor slam a door and scream. Police made contact with all parties and determined that there was a verbal-only disturbance between a father and his adult daughter.
Suspicious Circumstances – 10:06 p.m. – La Palma/Moody – A male subject in a vehicle reportedly proposed a sex act for money. The reporting party was walking on the sidewalk when the vehicle pulled over into the bike lane.
