Rossmoor Woman’s Club Garden Tour set for Sunday, May 16

Tickets are on sale now for the Rossmoor Woman’s Club’s annual Spring Garden Tour and Outdoor Marketplace. The event was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19, but it returns this year from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, with masks and social distancing required.

This will be the 17th year for the self-guided tour, which features landscaping, pools, outdoor kitchens and more in five Rossmoor yards. In addition, shoppers can browse the pop-up Outdoor Marketplace for plants and outdoor decor, refreshments and other wares sold by a variety of vendors. Several gift baskets will be raffled off, too.

Tickets may be purchased in advance for $15 from any Rossmoor Woman’s Club member or the participating merchants listed below. You can also buy tickets the day of the tour at the Outdoor Marketplace, which will be in the parking lot behind Farmers & Merchants Bank, at St. Cloud Drive and West Road in Rossmoor Center, next to the Los Alamitos-Rossmoor Library.

A third option is to purchase tickets online at rossmoorwomansclub.com and pick them up the day of the tour at the Outdoor Marketplace. This option costs $16, which includes a $1 handling fee.

The tickets include the addresses of homes on the tour and a map.

All net proceeds from the Garden Tour go to support the Rossmoor Woman’s Club’s charitable work with a variety of organizations throughout north Orange County and Long Beach. The club provides scholarships for Los Alamitos High School students and money, in-kind donations or hands-on-work to help fill the needs at organizations including Precious Life Shelter, Bethune Transitional Center, Ronald McDonald House, Food Finders, Long Beach Veterans Hospital, the Joint Forces Training Base, We Care, Fix Long Beach and many more.
