Los Alamitos High School Nurse, Cassandra Palacios, has been selected as one of the six finalists for the Orange County Classified School Employee of the Year (CSEY) program. Her selection in the Health and Student Services category represents her exemplary efforts in the areas of school and community involvement, leadership, and customer care.

Ms. Palacios will now be nominated to the California Department of Education for consideration as a statewide finalist. In addition to representing Orange County in the state level competition, she will be recognized as a 2021 CSEY Finalist in the Orange County Register and receive a $500 award check from our generous sponsor, Schools First Federal Credit Union.

In honor of her outstanding achievement, she will receive a gift bag at the school in May during Classified Employee-of-the-Week, a beautiful glass award, a commemorative pin, and a few other surprises.

Congratulations Ms. Palacios for your dedication to the students and families at Los Alamitos High School!
