Upcoming weekend closures for maintenance repair

The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is scheduled to have the following closures this weekend for maintenance repairs:

Saturday, May 1

  • Northbound State Route 55 (SR-55)connector to westbound SR-22 from 4:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. for litter removal.

Sunday, May 2

  • Southbound Interstate 405 (I-405)HOV connector to northbound SR-55 from 12:00 a.m. until 8:00 a.m. for guardrail.
  • Northbound I-5 connector to northbound SR-73 from 5:00 a.m. until 9:00 a.m. for sign work.
  • Northbound SR-261 lanes 1 and 2 from Portola Parkway to Santiago Canyon Roadfrom 5:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. for crack seal operation.

Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience while we perform this work. Electronic Changeable Message Signs will notify drivers of the closure. Work updates will be available via Twitter, Facebook and Instagram using our handle, @CaltransOC.

This work schedule is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment and/or materials, and/or construction-related issues.
