RSVP for Grammy®-nominated Black Violin at Musco Center

Challenging conventions and expectations, Black Violin combines classical training and hip-hop influences to create a distinctive multi-genre sound called “classical boom.” The Grammy®-nominated violin and viola duo Kev Marcus and Wil B merge string arrangements with modern beats to overcome stereotypes and encourage people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds to join together to break down cultural barriers.

Classically trained Floridians Wil B (viola) and Kev Marcus (violin) have been busting genres and fusing musical traditions together since their high school orchestra days. Through the combination of string arrangements and hip-hop artistry, Black Violin challenges conventions and expectations through their distinctive multi-genre sound called “classical boom.”

The Grammy®-nominated duo’s live question and answer session and streamed concert will break through stereotypes and bring people of all ages, races, and economic backgrounds together.
