May 10, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 8:53 a.m. – 9300 block of Valley View St. – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect smashed the driver side window of the vehicle and stole the victim’s laptop from inside.
Vandalism – 6:33 p.m. – Belle/Walker – On Monday, between 3:00 and 3:30 a.m., the victim’s vehicle was parked in the area of Belle and Walker when an unknown suspect shattered all the windows with a baseball bat causing approximately $5000 worth of damage.

May 12, 2021

Stolen/Recovered Vehicle – 7:39 a.m. – 5800 block of Katella Ave. – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect stole the victim’s gray 2021 Ford Mustang. The vehicle was recovered by Anaheim Police after a pursuit ending with the suspect in custody.
Pursuit – 9:38 a.m. – 10900 block of Yamaha Wy. – While patrolling the area for a reported stolen vehicle from the Hampton Inn, officers located the gray Kia Soul on Knott Avenue and Ball Rd, occupied by one male driver. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit lasted approximately three minutes before the vehicle collided with a light pole at Edwards and Bolsa in the City of Huntington Beach. The suspect fled from the vehicle on foot and was later apprehended with assistance from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, Huntington Beach Police Department, and Westminster Police Department. The subject was taken into custody for being in possession of stolen property and felony evading. The subject was transported to OCJ.

May 13, 2021

Suspicious Subject – 11:34 a.m. – 6000 block of Lime – From a call for service regarding a suspicious subject in the alley, a male subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Pedestrian Check – 12:19 p.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for possession of methamphetamine.

May 14, 2021

Suspicious Property – 4:39 p.m. – 5100 block of Marion – The resident received a package in the mail that smelled of marijuana. The package contained 30 grams of marijuana, a bottle of THC and a vape pen.
Traffic Stop – 6:29 p.m. – Lincoln/Holder – From a traffic stop, a subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers responded to location and conducted a parole search of a room registered to one of the vehicle’s occupants. During the room search they located a loaded firearm. A second subject was subsequently placed under arrest for felon in possession of a loaded firearm and possession of methamphetamine.

May 15, 2021

Robbery – 9:48 a.m. – 10000 block of Valley View St. – From a call for service, a male subject was arrested after he stole miscellaneous items and then pulled away from the manager, injuring the manager in the process. Officers arrived and took the subject into custody without incident. The subject was arrested for robbery and a parole hold.
Domestic Violence – 11:02 p.m. – 9900 block of Holder St. – While driving home, the victim was struck in the head and ribs by her husband and sustained visible injuries. The male subject was identified placed under arrest for felony domestic violence.

May 16, 2021

Pedestrian/Bicycle Safety – 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m – Citywide – Officers conducted directed traffic safety enforcement for bicyclists and pedestrians. Numerous stops and several citations were issued throughout the campaign.
Suspicious Subject – 4:18 p.m. – 5500 block of Katella Ave. – A citizen observed a suspicious person attempting to enter the building. Due to the sheer size of the vacant industrial building, both day and night shift officers, along with officers from the Los Alamitos Police Department, teamed up to conduct the search for the subject. Officers arrested a male subject for criminal trespassing, possession of a dirk/dagger, and an outstanding warrant. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.
Disturbance (Family) – 7:24 p.m. – 11300 block of Harkers Ct. – From repeated family disturbance calls, officers arrested a female subject for felony vandalism, trespassing, and battery on a peace officer after she kicked officers while at Orange County Jail.
