This week will be hot! Make sure that you adequately water your tomatoes (and other plants) before the heat of the day. Check them in the evening — if they’re drooping, water some more! We have harvested the first two zucchini, with yellow crookneck squash coming on strong. The tallest sunflower now reaches higher than our back wall. No ripe tomatoes yet, but we check every day.
