The following is an excerpt from the Regular Meeting of the Cypress School District Board of Trustees held on July 8, 2021:

Swain School Site Project

The following agreements associated with relocation of the district’s Maintenance/Operations, Transportation, and Technology department to the vacant Swain school site were approved by the Board:

  • Ghataode Bannon Architects amended agreement to increase the cost by $197,100 due to impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on construction costs.
  • Encorp for hazardous material abatement monitoring during demolition at a cost not to exceed $14,890.
  • M.P. South for alterations, small additions, and deferred maintenance work under an existing master agreement at a total cost of $3,150,576.12.
  • AW Industries for inspector of record services to monitor on-site work at a cost not to exceed $19,800.
    River City Testing for materials testing and inspection services at a cost not to exceed $12,000.
