July 5, 2021

Patrol Check – 9:32 p.m. – 5700 block of Camp – From a patrol check at the old Straight Talk lot, a male subject was arrested for trespassing and possession of a controlled substance.
Assist Outside Agency – 10:54 p.m. – Katella/605 Fwy. – Officers and PSD Bono assisted Seal Beach Officers with a felony car stop at Katella and the 605 Fwy. A witness observed occupants inside the vehicle firing a gun out the window at Seal Beach Blvd. and Bolsa. Three suspects were taken into custody and the gun was recovered.

July 6, 2021

Arrest – 2:17 a.m. – 9200 block of Graham Cir. – A male subject was arrested for felony elder abuse and violation of a protective order after he assaulted his mother causing injury to her face and hands.
Stolen Vehicle – 5:30 p.m. – 9100 block of Watson St. – Sometime between 7/5 at 4 p.m. and today at 5:27 p.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s Green, 2007 Toyota Tundra.

July 7, 2021

Arrest – 9:53 a.m. – 6100 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a call for service, Officers arrested a female subject for false identification to a peace officer, two warrants, possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia. The subject was cited and released from our station.
Burglary – 11:13 a.m. – 9800 block of Bloomfield – Between 6/30/21 and 7/5/21, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s apartment via an unlocked sliding glass door. The loss was a PlayStation, game controller, headphones and $200 in gift cards.

July 8, 2021

Traffic Stop – 6:18 p.m. – Walker/Ball – From a traffic stop, a male subject was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant and possession of a controlled substance for sales.
Theft – 6:33 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – From a theft in progress involving a suspect fighting loss prevention, a male subject was arrested for robbery and outstanding warrants. A second subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

July 9, 2021

Commercial Burglary – 1:22 p.m. – 5500 block of Lincoln Ave. – At approximately 6 a.m., an unknown suspect, described as a male dressed in a gray Nike hat, black long sleeve shirt and pants with black Nike shoes, broke into the business via the double doors and stole four bicycles, valued at $2500.00.
Arrest – 3:00 p.m. – 4000 block of Ball Rd. – After numerous calls for service regarding a male subject, he was ultimately transported to a Facility in the City of Orange for sobering. Once at the facility, the subject refused treatment and was promptly arrested and taken to Orange County Jail for public intoxication.
Domestic Violence Arrest – 10:44 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield – From a domestic violence call for service, police arrested a male subject for felony domestic violence, vehicle theft, criminal threats, and resisting/delaying an officer. The subject strangled his girlfriend and fled the location in the victim’s vehicle prior to officers arrival. Subject returned to the location an hour later and was taken into custody. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.

July 11, 2021

Suspicious Subject – 1:21 a.m. – 5900 block of Corporate Ave. – From a suspicious person call for service, Officers arrested a subject for possession of methamphetamine.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 5:44 p.m. – 10600 block of Valley View St. – At the time of call, an unknown suspect was observed attempting to steal the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle. The suspect was interrupted by the victim and fled the location.
