New Majority Endorses Kevin Faulconer for Governor in California Recall Election
New Majority announced its endorsement of Kevin Faulconer for Governor in the upcoming election to recall and replace Governor Gavin Newsom. The endorsement comes after a vote of the New Majority membership.
“Kevin is our best hope to get California back on track,” said Howard Hakes, Chairman of New Majority. “He has a solid record of solving big problems like homelessness and crime, while creating jobs as Mayor of San Diego. Kevin is an experienced, principled leader who has shown he can work across party lines to build consensus around key issues. We are thrilled to support Kevin for Governor and we encourage others to do the same.”
The California statewide election to recall and replace Governor Gavin Newsom will take place on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
