July 15, 2021

Unknown Trouble – 10:42 a.m. – 8000 block of Walker St. – The male caller stated that he was being chased by his girlfriend. The male was gone on the arrival of police, who were unable to locate the subject on an area check. Cypress Police made contact with the girlfriend, who advised that they had been in a verbal argument but that he left the location. The girlfriend advised Cypress Police that she would call back if the boyfriend returned or they had any more issues.
Citizen Assist – 8:53 a.m. – 5900 block of La Palma Ave. – The homeless reporting party stated that he’s been living on the property for several months and that people were harassing him. The reporting party wanted to complain about people visiting the business. The subject was advised that they were allowed to be there.

July 16, 2021

Police Information – 5:16 p.m. – 7800 block of Walker St. – An employee reportedly lost their car keys while at work. The employee was leaving the vehicle parked in the parking lot overnight and would pick up the vehicle in the morning.

July 17, 2021

Suspicious Subject – 11:23 a.m. – 7900 block of Birchwood Cir. – A subject claimed to be from a utility company but did not have company ID. The caller believed that the subject was casing. Police contacted the subject and determined that the subject was an employee with a solar power company. Party advised and will comply.
Reckless Driving – 11:54 p.m. – Walker/Fresca – A car club last seen in Compton was reportedly en route to Walker/Fresca. Vehicles were seen doing donuts in the area. Buena Park Police was very busy with no guarantee they could respond.

July 18, 2021

Flagdown – 8:41 a.m. – 7821 Walker St. (Central Park) – The subject requested extra patrol checks regarding Movies in the Park on Friday evening. The citizen was concern for the speed of traffic at the crosswalk area.
Disturbance (Party) – 10:50 p.m. – 5000 block of Sausalito Cir. – Loud subjects were reportedly playing basketball in the rear yard. Police contacted the homeowner; the subjects were done playing for the night.

July 19, 2021

Foot Patrol – 7:14 a.m. – Walker/Coyote Creek – Police attempted to contact a subject in the creekbed. The subject refused to comply at first. After the subject complied, the subject was arrested on charges of an outstanding bench warrant, carrying a switchblade knife, and obstruction.
Pedestrian Check – 7:04 p.m. – 5100 block of Dumaine Dr. – Police contacted two subjects. A 35-year-old female was arrested for a bench warrant for failure to appear on misdemeanor charge. A 31-year-old male subject was arrested for two bench warrants for failure to appear on misdemeanor and felony charges. The subjects were transported to Orange County Jail. The female was released on bail.

July 20, 2021

Burglary Report – 9:31 a.m. – 7000 block of Walker St. – Unknown suspects broke into the location and cut the wires to the camera. There were no signs of forced entry. The reporting party would ve calling back with possible footage from prior to the camera being disconnected.
Patrol Check – 8:48 a.m. – Walker/Coyote Creek – Police performed a patrol check of the area. A subject attempted to run from the police. The subject fled on foot onto the 91 Fwy. before exiting on Carmenita. The subject was detained and later arrested for possession of unlawful paraphernalia, outstanding warrants, resisting arrest, and using a freeway as a pedestrian/cyclist.
Bike Stop – 9:48 p.m. – 7900 block of Walker St. – Police contacted a male and a female with a buggy and a pit pull. The male subject was stopped for the motorized bike and the female for not having bike lighting. The male subject was cooperative. The female subject was arrested for the bike lighting and a bench warrant for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges.

July 21, 2021

Grand Theft Report – 2:28 p.m. – 8300 block of Meadowlark Ln. – A grand theft was reported with the loss of a gold Rolex watch and possibly cash. The watch was valued at $10,000-$15,000. All adjacent tracts checked okay. Report taken.
Indecent Exposure – 6:41 p.m. – 7900 block of Ash Ln. – An unknown subject was reportedly urinating in front of a neighbor’s house. The subject was seen coming and going from a black BMW 3Series and was “wobbly” when he walked. Police made contact with the subject on the 5000 block of Alder. Three mini wine bottles could be seen in plain view inside the vehicle and alcohol could be smelled. The reporting party’s daughter reportedly saw the subject driving the vehicle. A friend arrived to pick up the subject. The vehicle was left locked and secured at the location.
