California Highway Patrol issues Silver Alert for woman last seen in Long Beach

The California Highway Patrol has issued a Silver Alert for an at-risk/missing person on behalf of the Long Beach Police Department.

Tasha Merola was last seen on August 21, 2021, at approximately 4:00 p.m. at Sunfield Ave. at E. Arbor Rd. Long Beach, Los Angeles County. Merola is believed to be wearing a blue and white jumper.

If seen, call 9-1-1.

Tasha Merola is 40 years old, 5’4″ tall, 130 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

  1. Is Tara mentally impaired? Might she have wandered off in the city and not know her whereabouts? Or is this a suspicion of a kidnapping?
