Ozomatli outdoor concert on Aitken Arts Plaza to take place September 25, 2021

Afro-Latin rhythms, reggae, hip hop, rock, and cumbia collide in the musical fusion created by high-energy, socially-conscious bands Ozomatli and La Misa Negra.

Ozomatli, a Grammy Award-winning six-piece band from Los Angeles, and openers La Misa Negra, a seven-piece band from Oakland, perform groovy, beat-based dance music with the ease of reggae and the boldness of punk rock, a joyful concoction that makes everyone feel at home.

Bring your blankets, beach chairs, and picnics for this concert on Aitken Arts Plaza.

Gates open at 2 P.M., La Misa Negra at 3 P.M. and Ozomatli 4:30 P.M.

PLEASE NOTE: Chapman University policy requires face coverings be worn during outdoor events that exceed 1,000 people to reduce the risk of COVID-19. Please bring a face covering to be worn throughout the event, only to be removed while actively eating or drinking.
