Construction will commence on September 7, 2021 and it is expected to be complete in early 2023.

Benefits:

  • Widen sidewalk.
  • Upgrade 83 curb ramps.
  • Install 32 audible pedestrian crossing signals.
  • Reconstruct all driveways within the sidewalk to make them ADA accessible.
  • Over 10 lane miles of re-pavement.
  • Striping will be refreshed to 6” wide striping.

Pre-construction staging and installation of construction equipment

Pre-construction work is set to start on Tuesday, September 7. Traffic will be limited to one lane Monday through Friday during working hours of 9 AM – 4 PM northbound and 8 AM – 3 PM southbound. During paving operations to minimize the impact to the public, work will occur overnight from 10 PM – 5 AM. Parking will be unavailable within construction limits. We anticipate traffic delays and some construction noise.
