August 30, 2021

Stolen Vehicle – 5:30 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – The victim met a female at a motel in Buena Park. He drove to an address in the 6800 block of Katella Ave. at 12:00 p.m., and left the female in his vehicle with the keys. When he returned at 1 p.m., the subject and his gray, 2004 Chevy Impala were gone. At 6 p.m., the Anaheim PD helicopter picked up a LoJack hit in the area of Carson and Norwalk Blvd. but soon lost the signal.
Attempted Theft – 10:39 p.m. – 11600 block of Onyx – A heavyset male subject and a thin male subject driving a white four-door similar to a Honda or Toyota, attempted to steal the catalytic converter from a 1994 Ford Ranger but were interrupted by a neighbor.

August 31, 2021

Traffic Stop – 12:37 p.m. – Walker St. – From a traffic stop, Officers arrested a male subject for outstanding warrants.
Grand Theft – 7:45 p.m. – 9300 block of Holder St. – On today’s date between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., unknown suspects removed the rims and tires from the victim’s Toyota Corolla and left the vehicle on cinder blocks in the carport.

September 1, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 6:45 a.m. – 6800 block of Leilani – Sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. today, and unknown suspect broke into the victim’s Ford truck by unknown means and stole a computer and Springfield 9mm handgun
Battery – 2:09p.m. – 5000 block of Ball Rd. – From a call of a battery, a male subject was arrested for resisting a peace officer with violence and a warrant. Upon contact, the subject charged the officer and attempted to assault him with his fists and the police unit door. The original victim of the battery did not desire prosecution, but the subject was arrested for a warrant and the attempted assault on a peace officer.

September 2, 2021

Petty Theft – 6:23 a.m. – 4400 block of Myra – A witness observed a male subject inside victim’s Dodge Ram truck and telephoned the police. The subject fled the area on a bicycle and was unable to be located.
Vehicle Burglary – 7:44 a.m. – 8600 block of Watson – Occurred between 09/01/21 at 7 p.m. and time of call. An unknown subject smashed the passenger window of a white van and stole a bag containing tools, valued at $500.

September 3, 2021

Residential Burglary – 9:04 p.m. – 4900 block of Lemon – Between 5:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., an unknown suspect entered the victim’s residence through an unlocked door. The loss was cash.
Injury Traffic Collision – 2:16 a.m. – Valley View north of Cerritos – A single vehicle roll-over traffic collision occurred when the driver struck the center median.

September 4, 2021

Grand Theft – 1:44 p.m. – 8700 block of Walker St. – An unknown subject took a tool box containing $12,000 worth of medical supplies. There was no suspect information.
Hit and Run Vehicle/Stolen Vehicle – 4:54 p.m. – From a call for service of a truck that collided with a parked vehicle in front of the residence, a male subject was arrested for stolen property.

September 5, 2021

Attempted Robbery – 5:34 a.m. – 5900 block of Corporate – The suspect attempted to steal the victim’s grocery bag, but was unsuccessful. The suspect was last seen fleeing on foot towards Cerritos Avenue.
Traffic Collision – 10:44 p.m. – Orange/Valley View – Officers were dispatched to a two car, rollover traffic collision. During the investigation, police arrested a male subject for misdemeanor DUI.
