September 6, 2021
Arrest – 1:57 a.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – While traveling westbound on Lincoln, police observed three vehicles blocking the number two lane of Lincoln. During the investigation, it was discovered that a black vehicle struck the vehicles and fled westbound on Lincoln. The vehicle was located at Lincoln and Sumner, where the vehicle became engulfed in flames. Officers arrested a female subject.
Disturbance (Subject) – 11:53 p.m. – 6900 block of Katella Ave. – Officers responded to location regarding a subject pounding on the front glass doors and going from business to business attempting to make entry. Officers arrived and observed the front door glass was smashed at a business. Officers then observed the suspect run eastbound across Knott. Police attempted to contact the subject in front of another location. Immediately upon contact, the subject charged police and began fighting. The subject was arrested for resisting and delaying police officer, battery on a police officer, and felony vandalism.
September 7, 2021
Vandalism – 10:06 a.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – Upon their return to work, the employee requested a vandalism report for their smashed front window. This case may be related to the arrest from night shift.
Theft – 11:57 a.m. – 6200 block of Lincoln Ave. – The victim reported her boyfriend; took her computer, cell phone, and credit cards while she was asleep. She believes he also withdrew $4000 cash from her EDD account.
Petty Theft – 6:44 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – A male subject exited the garden department with six rolls of copper wire valued at $810.00. The subject was last seen westbound on Lincoln.
STAR Team Call-out – 8:40 p.m. – Cerritos/Holder – A four-car traffic collision occurred at the intersection, resulting in three people being transported to the hospital. Public Works responded with barricades and lighting.
September 8, 2021
Vehicle Burglary – 3:10 a.m. – 8600 block of Watson St. – A witness observed a subject breaking into her
neighbor’s vehicle. While responding to the location the suspect was observed riding a skateboard across Walker St. A male subject was arrested for vehicle burglary.
Burglary – 11:15 a.m. – 6100 block of Tonga – Between 10:00 p.m. Tuesday and 5 a.m. today, an unknown suspect broke into a shed in the backyard of the victim and stole a leaf blower, a weed whacker, a chain saw and a water pressure washer.
September 9, 2021
Grand Theft – 6:19 a.m. – 8800 block of Watson – A victim was woken up by a loud sawing noise and saw three male Hispanics, near (and under) his vehicle removing the catalytic converter. The suspects took off in a white 4 door Infiniti G37, with no plates, last seen heading northbound on Walker.
Pedestrian Check – 11:01 p.m. – 6100 block of Lincoln Ave. – From a pedestrian check, a male subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
September 10, 2021
Vandalism – 9:22 a.m. – 4700 block of Lincoln Ave. – The victim suspects her husband of vandalizing the inside of the business overnight. She estimated the damage to be approximately $5000.
Grand Theft – 9:32 a.m. – 8300 block of Carob – An unknown suspect removed paint and personal property from the victim’s backyard. Occurred within the last few days.
Robbery – 8:52 p.m. – 10000 block of Valley View St. – Officers arrested a female subject for robbery after she was found to have punched and kicked the manager while attempting to steal items. She was booked at Orange County Jail.
September 11, 2021
Forgery – 11:56 a.m. – 9200 block of Valley View St. – Officers were flagged down by security due to a female who used counterfeit bills to purchase goods. Officers arrested a female subject for forgery and warrants.
Stolen Vehicle – 5:11 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – The victim’s vehicle was stolen while he was in the store. The victim tracked his phone which was in the vehicle to the area of Ball and Western, where the suspect was detained without incident by Anaheim Police Department. The suspect was arrested and transported to Orange County Jail.
September 12, 2021
Grand Theft from a Vehicle – 9:27 a.m. – 5500 block of Danny – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole his passport, wallet, diamond ring, and watch, valuing at $11,000.
Hit and Run Property Damage – 9:32 a.m. – Denni/Crescent – Cypress Police took a hit and run traffic collision after an unknown suspect collided with a street sign and fled the scene prior to the arrival of police.
