Enhanced airfield operations on tap in support of local air show

Los Alamitos Army Airfield (LAAAF) will serve as the staging point for a variety of military aircraft – including the U.S. Navy Blue Angels, U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and Royal Canadian Air Force Snowbirds Flight Demonstration Teams — scheduled to perform at this weekend’s Pacific Airshow in Huntington Beach.

Arrival of aircraft and support personnel will begin Tuesday, Sept. 28, with flight operations taking place daily through the upcoming weekend. All flight operations will be conducted during normal airfield hours.

There are no public events at Joint Forces Training Base in conjunction with the airshow.
