The latest issue of our popular monthly local guide is now available — our OCB’s October 2021 Dining Arts and Entertainment guide (OCB DARTS).
Printed copies are available again! But the print run is short because not all of our distribution venues have re-opened. We encourage you to download your own free printable copy of our October 2021 Dining Arts and Entertainment guide (OCB DARTS).
From front cover to back page, all eight pages of our October Dining Arts and Entertainment guide will help you plan for events now that we’re all getting back together in person.
The cover graphic invites everybody to the Cypress Community Festival, re-scheduled from summer to fall not only because of the pandemic but also to shake things up and try new things.
Page Two has the beginning of the event listing, plus a information about the Cypress State of the City event, likewise re-scheduled but not solely due to the pandemic. The City wants to invite you to the Civic Center Green to hear about how your City is doing, to mingle with friends and soon-to-be friends, and enjoy some light music. Tickets and wristbands are required for the food and drink, pre-paid through the Cypress Chamber of Commerce. Wristbands will not be available for purchase at the event.
Page Three continues the event listing, and has reminder about the Cypress Festival that features one of the Cypress Police Department’s K-9 teams, Officer Mike McBain and his partner, Pasko.
Page Four continues the event listing, information about the Cypress 5k/10k (on a new date this year), and an invitation to the October Cypress Chamber of Commerce networking breakfast.
Page Five concludes the event listing and invites everyone to the Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast hosted by Cypress City Church Leaders at the Cypress Community Center.
Page Six includes an invitation to a masquerade gala in support of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Anaheim-Cypress, a Día do los Muertos event at St. Isidore Historical Plaza in Los Alamitos, and a spotlight on a new event in Lakewood, Fest-of-all, a multicultural food and music festival.
Pages Seven and Eight hold puzzles for the first week of October 2021.
October is wall-to-wall events. Especially on Friday-Saturday-Sunday, you have no reason besides exceptional caution not to be out and about the town!
Remember us when you have fun!
