Over 60 employers will be a part of the job fair and available to answer questions about open positions, business culture and what it’s like working at their companies. Each employer will also be available to review resumes and schedule interviews.
Attending employers span a multitude of industries including service and hospitality, healthcare, finance, nonprofit, food and beverage and more. The diversity of companies will cater to a range of skillsets and various levels of experience. Participating vendors include, but are not limited to, the YMCA, CVS Health, Kumon Math & Reading Center and Girl Scouts of Orange County.
COVID-19 continues to impact the lives of so many, and a large part of that impact is on employment and the job market. The team at Saddleback Church knows that landing a new job requires resources and time, whether someone is facing unemployment or looking for a new opportunity, and also offers free career and resume coaching to job seekers. Career resources are just one way Saddleback has stepped up to serve families facing new economic and social challenges. The church has also become the largest distributor of free food in Orange County, serving 276,924 families with nearly 16 million pounds of free food since March 2020.
“At our church, we’ve witnessed firsthand the devastation that this pandemic has had on livelihood and employment, and we are committed to serving those in need in our community. We’re excited to connect people with the resources and guidance they are looking for,” said David Chrzan, Pastor of Saddleback’s various outreach activities.
Building on its mission to serve and support the community, Saddleback Church welcomes members from all walks of faith and backgrounds to join the upcoming job fair. Anyone looking to sharpen their resume and interview skills, network or apply for new positions can benefit from the fair and online workshops.
