  1. When writing to the redistricting commission about keeping our western OC cities (Los Alamitos-Rossmoor, Cypress, Seal Beach) in the same political districts, please stress our common interests with other Orange County cities such as La Palma, Buena Park, Garden Grove, Westminster, etc. The term “Communities of Interest” seems to be a popular concept with other submissions. Don’t criticize Long Beach/LA County even if you have an issue with those areas, just refer to that area as having their own interests and do not want their city divided among multiple districts that would include Orange County.
