UCLA Bruins lose to Oregon, 34-31

The Bruins gave fans a strong first quarter, skunking Oregon while racking up 14 points themselves.

The second quarter found the cleats on the other foot, with Oregon putting up 14 points and the Bruins only a field goal.

The score at halftime was 14-17 with the Bruins in the lead.

Then came the third quarter, when Oregon skunked the Bruins, scoring 13 points themselves. (The point after on a second Oregon touchdown missed.)

If the Bruins had been able to hold Oregon scoreless in the fourth quarter while scoring the 14 points they added, that would have been enough to win. However, Oregon scored another touchdown and point after, bringing the score to 34-31 for an Oregon win.

The next game for the Bruins will be on the road at Utah.
