October 18, 2021

Stolen Vehicle – 7:23 a.m. – 4400 block of Newman St. – At approximately 12:18 a.m., unknown suspect stole the victims white 2005 Ford F350 truck. This vehicle was later recovered in Long Beach, unoccupied.
Traffic Stop – 7:51 a.m. – Valley View/Lincoln – From a traffic stop, a male subject was arrested for being an unlicensed driver, and a female subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

October 19, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 7:29 a.m. – 4000 block of Larwin – Sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. today, an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle via rear window smash and stole the victim’s black leather backpack containing a laptop and paperwork.
Grand Theft – 3:39 p.m. – 9700 block of Rosemary – Between 10/16 at 9 p.m. and time of call, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole the victim’s two iPhones, employee access and ID cards, and dash camera, valued at $2200.

October 20, 2021

Burglary – 10:23 a.m. – 4100 block of Ball Rd. – An unknown suspect stole 10 packages from various recipients. There was no force to the building, the front door was unlocked, and there were no leads at this time.
Structure Fire – 4:10 p.m. – 6100 block of Rosemary – The pedestrian access door to the garage of the residence caught fire when chemically tainted rags combusted. OCFA responded and extinguished the fire.

October 21, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 8:40 a.m. – 4800 block of Grace Ave. – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect attempted to break into the victim’s vehicle by prying the rear passenger door and breaking a rear passenger side window. No entry was made and the only loss was the damage to the vehicle valued at approximately $4,000.
Restraining Order Violation – 10:24 a.m. – 4800 block of Grace Ave. – While investigating the above
listed vehicle burglary, an officer was flagged down regarding a subject violating a restraining order. The officer contacted and arrested a male subject for violating a criminal protective order.

October 22, 2021

Bike Stop – 9:17 p.m. – Lincoln/Valley View – Officers attempted to make a bicycle stop in the area of Lincoln and Valley View. The bicyclist fled westbound on Lincoln Avenue from Valley View. The subject was located and detained in the area of the 5500 block of Lincoln Avenue. A male subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, misappropriation of lost property, and obstructing/delaying an officer.
Pedestrian Check – 10:25 p.m. – 5400 block of Cerritos Ave. – Officers attempted to make a pedestrian check in the area of American Tire Depot. The subject fled on foot and was later detained in the area of St. Alban and Cerritos. A male subject was arrested for an outstanding no-bail warrant and obstructing/delaying an officer.

October 23, 2021

Grand Theft – 12:22 p.m. – 4600 block of Lincoln Ave. – Sometime in the past five months, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s motorhome. The loss was valued at $1,000.
Domestic Violence – 7:08 p.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – Officers arrested a male subject for misdemeanor domestic violence after he grabbed his wife by the neck during an argument. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail. An Emergency Protection Order was obtained and served.
Traffic Collision – 11:42 p.m. – Katella Ave. east of Hope – From a single vehicle rollover traffic
collision investigation, police arrested a male subject for DUI. Subject was transported and booked at OCJ.

October 24, 2021

Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 10:54 p.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Officers located a reported stolen vehicle to the rear of a location in the 5800 block of Lincoln Avenue and detained two subjects as they attempted to walk away from the vehicle. A female subject, who the victim named as the suspect, was arrested for vehicle theft and possession of a fraudulent $100 bill.
