“Mastering the Master Plan” Virtual Event happening Friday

Residents are invited to learn more about the state’s Master Plan for Aging and the impacts it will have on Orange County at this week’s virtual “Mastering the Master Plan” virtual townhall event on Friday, November 5, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Friday’s townhall will highlight the plan’s five Bold Goals and associated strategies. Goals include: Housing for All Stages & Ages; Health Reimagined; Inclusion & Equity, Not Isolation; Caregiving that Works; and Affording Aging. Amanda Lawrence from the California Master Plan for Aging, Ellen Young from the Irvine Health Foundation and Ericka Danczak from the County of Orange Office on Aging and Veterans Services will be on hand to present information. There will also be a question-and-answer session that includes participation by local and state elected officials.

Event co-sponsors include County of Orange Social Services Agency, OC Aging Services Collaborative, OC Strategic Plan for Aging, OC Office on Aging, Aging & Disability Resource Connection, Meals on Wheels OC, OC Caregiver Resource Center, The SCAN Foundation and Alzheimer’s Orange County.
