Marie Osmond opens the 2021-2022 season at the Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts

The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) kicks off a brand new season with MARIE OSMOND: A SYMPHONIC CHRISTMAS at 8 p.m. on Friday, December 3. Tickets start at $70. Accompanied by a 30-piece orchestra, the entertainment legend will perform an array of holiday tunes, her hits, and Broadway songs. The evening also features special guests David Osmond and Daniel Emmet.

Since her debut single Paper Roses reached the No. One spot on the Billboard charts, catapulting the then-tween into international superstardom, MARIE OSMOND has recorded numerous chart-topping singles and albums and written New York Times bestselling books. Over the course of her five decades in entertainment, the Gold and Platinum-selling artist and Country Music Award winner has graced television, radio, film, and the Broadway stage.

Her latest release Music Is Medicine, encompassing a lifetime of experience, music, love, loss, hope
and joy, reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Country music chart. In an upcoming album, Unexpected, Osmond partnered with the Prague Symphony Orchestra to deliver a diverse mix of Classical, Opera, and Broadway tunes.

A dedicated philanthropist, Osmond co-founded the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which has raised more than $7 billion for medical facilities that treat sick youngsters throughout the United States. The former co-host of the award-winning talk show The View, Osmond also appeared in the Lifetime movies A Christmas Edition and the upcoming A Fiancé for Christmas. She also received wide acclaimed for her Broadway performances in The Sound of Music and The King and I. Osmond has penned three best-selling books: Behind the Smile: My Journey Out; Might as Well Laugh About It Now; and The Key Is Love.

As a child, Marie Osmond’s nephew DAVID OSMOND was part of the Osmond Boys quartet, performing in sold-out stadiums and arenas across the United States, Europe, and Asia. The host of the television show Wonderama, David Osmond has also competed in American Idol and appeared in the musical production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

America’s Got Talent finalist DANIEL EMMET has been featured on the CW’s The Big Stage and headlines Caesars Palace exclusive run of his show All That I Am. Emmet’s single Passerà debuted at No. 2 on the iTunes Classical Chart.
