The group’s 25 Anniversario José Hernández y Su Mariachi Sol de México was nominated for a “Best Mexican/Mexican-American Album” Latin Grammy, making the band the first Mariachi ensemble to earn the nod. The band’s string of successful CDs includes New York, New York; Are You Lonesome Tonight; Acapulco Girls; and Mi Mariachi. Sol de México has performed with music greats José Feliciano, Willie Nelson, and The Beach Boys. The group worked on Hollywood soundtracks for Sea Biscuit, The Old Gringo, and Don Juan de Marco.

Joining Sol de México on the stage is the all-female Mariachi group MARIACHI REYNA DE LOS ANGELES. Staying true to its music and creative spirit, the ensemble mixes recognized masterpieces of Mariachi with popular cover tunes. The troupe has delighted fans with its spirit and energy reflective of Mexico’s vibrant musical heritage.
