November 1, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 10:42 a.m. – 5800 block of Lincoln Ave. – Approximately 20 minutes prior to the call, an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s work truck and stole $500 worth of power tools.
Catalytic Converter Theft – 11:41 a.m. – 5700 block of Katella Ave. – Sometime on 10/28/21, an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from the victim’s vehicle.

November 2, 2021

Vehicle Burglary – 5:24 a.m. – 9200 block of Bloomfield – Both night and day shift officers responded to a vehicle burglary that had just occurred. An officer located and stopped a suspicious vehicle leaving the
area. From the vehicle stop, a subject was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and a warrant, a second subject was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, and a third subject was arrested for identity theft.
Theft from a Vehicle – 11:29 a.m. – 9200 block of Bloomfield – At approximately 4:54 a.m. today, an unknown suspect stole used the victim’s truck key, which was left on the hood, and moved the vehicle from its parking space to a spot on Bloomfield and then stole the key, jackets and a cooler.

November 3, 2021

Mail Theft/Vandalism – 10:32 a.m. – 9800 block of Bloomfield – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect broke into the mailbox bank.
Traffic Collision – 12:40 a.m. – Katella east of Walker – A solo vehicle struck a construction message board in the westbound lanes of Katella, taking out two City-owned light poles and a tree.

November 4, 2021

Stolen Vehicle – 5:43 a.m. – 8100 block of Willow – The victim’s white Toyota was stolen just prior to the call for service and was last seen towards Denni. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle on an area check.
Vehicle Theft – 5:35 p.m. – 6100 block of Chip Ave. – Between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., an unknown suspect stole the victim’s white Saab from the parking lot.

November 5, 2021

Traffic Stop – 6:15 a.m. – 8800 block of Valley View St. – From a traffic stop, police arrested a female subject for possession of paraphernalia, a male subject for possession of methamphetamine (9.4g) and paraphernalia and a second male subject for a no-bail narcotics warrant. The first two subjects were cited and released in the field, and the third subject was absentee booked and transported to Orange County Jail.
Burglary Report – 10:13 a.m. – 11300 block of Saint Pierre – Between 11/04/21 at p.m. and today at 8:45 a.m., approximately $1400 worth of tools and bicycle were stolen from the victim’s garage.
Theft – 7:27 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – From a possible theft in progress call for service, police arrested a male subject for an outstanding no-bail warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia. The subject was transported and booked at Orange County Jail.

November 6, 2021

Traffic Stop – 11:07 a.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. – From a traffic stop, police arrested a male subject for suspended license. He was cited and released in the field.
Petty Theft – 2:30 p.m. – 4000 block of Ball Rd. – Occurred within the last ten minutes, three female subjects stole approximately $200 worth of cosmetics and left in a black car.

November 7, 2021

Traffic Collision – 12:48 a.m. – Knott south of Katella – A vehicle collided into a City-owned light pole on Knott south of Katella, causing the light pole to fall and block the southbound number two lane of traffic. Public Works was notified.
Burglary/Vehicle Theft – 1:52 p.m. – 6200 block of Lincoln Ave. – While the victim was incarcerated, the motel neighbor and boyfriend broke into the victim’s motel room and stole cash,jewelry, personal information and car keys. They were identified as the person seen driving the victim’s two vehicle away from the motel at various times. Both vehicles were entered into the Stolen Vehicle System.
Theft – 7:35 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – From a theft in progress call for service, police arrested a male subject and a female subject for commercial burglary and conspiracy. The male subject was captured by officers as he was attempting to flee out the rear emergency exit with $1500.00 in merchandise. The female subject was waiting for the male subject in a vehicle near the emergency exit. Both subjects were transported and booked at Orange County Jail.
