November 8, 2021
Theft – 9:52 a.m. – 5600 block of Lincoln Ave. – On 11-07-21, between 5:15 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., an unknown suspect entered into the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole his backpack from inside. The contents of the backpack included two laptops, textbooks and cologne valued at $2,675.
Shoplifting – 1:21 p.m. – 6800 block of Katella Ave. – A male subject was observed by loss prevention concealing items in a business shopping bag and exiting the business without paying. Police responded to the theft and located the suspect on his bike at the corner of Knott and Katella. The suspect ignored the officer’s commands to stop and continued eastbound on Katella. Officers were finally able to detain the suspect at the corner of Katella and Western. The subject was arrested for shoplifting and resisting arrest.
November 9, 2021
Embezzlement – 10:25 a.m. – 6500 block of Katella Ave. – The victim reported the theft of a blue/black Yamaha motorcycle when the purchaser fraudulently used the information of another person.
Vandalism – 4:24 p.m. – 6000 block of Barry – Sometime on 11/3/21, an unknown suspect poured house paint on the victim’s vehicle, causing damage to the vehicle’s paint.
Stolen Vehicle – 5:54 p.m. – 9000 block of Bloomfield – The victim parked in front of the location
to pick up an item. When he returned a few minutes later, his White Chevy van had been stolen.
November 10, 2021
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 11:23 a.m. – 4400 block of Casa Grande Circle – The stolen white Rent A Center van from Tuesday evening was located in a carport. The vehicle was recovered.
Residential Burglary – 2:55 p.m. – 9500 block of Bloomfield – Between 1:50 p.m. and time of call, an unknown suspect broke into the residence through an open living room window. The loss included a Smith and Wesson handgun, laptop, jewelry, and perfume.
Found Property – 8:12 p.m. – 6900 block of Brenton Wy. – The resident contacted a suspicious male carrying a roll of copper pipe. The subject fled on foot and left behind the roll of pipe. The area was checked and it was unknown where the pipe came from. The pipe was recovered as found property.
November 11, 2021
Assist Outside Agency – 4:29 p.m. – Tiara/Montclair (La Palma) – A Cypress K-9 Officer assisted La Palma PD with a yard-to-yard search for a suspect that fled on foot in the area. No suspect was located.
Attempted Robbery – 4:31 p.m. – 5400 block of Katella Ave. – A female subject stole merchandise and concealed it in her purse. Upon fleeing the store, the female attempted to assault Loss Prevention.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 7:35 p.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. – A Police Services Officer located an unoccupied stolen vehicle Ford in the parking lot of location. The vehicle also had the catalytic converter stolen.
November 12, 2021
Vehicle Burglary – 7:41 a.m. – 8700 block of Walker St. – Sometime between 2100 hours last night
and time of call, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s vehicle via a passenger side window
smash and stole a backpack with books
Vehicle Burglary – 5:04 p.m. – 6000 block of Lime – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle and stole his wallet and two tablets.
November 13, 2021
Arrest – 1:00 p.m. – 4500 block of Avenida Granada – A male subject was arrested for misuse of 911 services after he called WestComm 20+ times to spew profanity and vulgarity at the dispatchers.
Recovered Stolen Vehicle – 2:04 p.m. – 4900 block of Camp – A black 1997 GMC Sierra was recovered. It was reported stolen out of Anaheim 6 days prior, the license plates were not with the vehicle.
November 14, 2021
Arrest – 2:28 a.m. – Valley View/Katella – From a call for service, a subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
Domestic Battery – 5:10 p.m. – 5200 block of Orange Ave. – The victim responded to the police department to report that his wife slapped his stomach on 11-12-21 and his shoulder on 10-28- 21. The victim was uninjured. The victim did not desire prosecution and requested no further action from the police.
