November 4, 2021

Found Property – 7:37 a.m. – La Palma/Bravo – A large trash bag had been at the location since Oct. 31. The bag was filled with trash. Public Works was requested to handle the incident.
Bike Stop – 11:08 p.m. – Orangethorpe/Walker – Following a bike stop, police arrested a 47-year-old male subject for a bench warrant for failure to appear on misdemeanor charges. The subject was later released on citation.

November 5, 2021

Identity Theft Report – 6:53 p.m. – 5200 block of Bridgewood Dr. – The reporting party was contacted by an unknown subject on the phone, who advised that they would fix an issue with their computer. The RP gave the subject his personal information, including his Social Security number and bank account information.
Stolen Vehicle Report – 8:39 p.m. – 5600 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – The caller advised that she was unable to locate her vehicle. Security advised her to contact the police. Records showed that the vehicle was impounded by the Anaheim Police Department, while the reporting party advised that she left the vehicle at her residence in La Palma. Anaheim Police Department was advised and would send someone to the towing service to locate the vehicle.

November 6, 2021

Disturbance (Family) – 11:23 a.m. – 4700 block of Elben Dr. – Police responded to a possible disturbance between sisters with one sister claiming the other stole her package. Police made contact and the reporting party advised that the package was given back after the police were called. The argument was over family financial issues.
Public Works Information – 5:39 p.m. – Edison Right-of-Way/Walker – Information was received secondhand from Public Works regarding a Mylar balloon in the electrical wires. Edison was responding to handle the situation.
Welfare Check – 9:43 p.m. – 5300 block of Polis Dr. – Another police agency requested a welfare check on a female subject possibly at the residence. The reporting party was a male who advised that he and his girlfriend were at a wedding in Santa Ana. The female was intoxicated, fell and knocked a tooth out. The subjects were arguing while the male was attempting to take her to urgent care and the male took her home instead. Police contacted the female, who was not giving much information. The incident was possibly mutual combat. No crime was determined at this time. Report taken.

November 7, 2021

Counseling – 10:25 a.m. – 7800 block of Norann Cir. – There was reportedly a civil dispute between the reporting party and the next door neighbor regarding overhanging tress and damaging the RP’s plantings. Counseled.
Lost/Stolen Property – 3:15 p.m. – 4900 block of La Palma Ave. – The missing property was reportedly a red Louis Vuitton wallet and its contents, including an American Express card, debit card, and cash. Report taken.

November 8, 2021

Counterfeit Currency – 11:46 a.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A subject was reportedly attempting to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. The reporting party also advised that the subject had done this in the past. A male subject was detained in cuffs. The 38-year-old male from Oceanside was arrested on forgery charges. The Secret Service was notified.
Suspicious Subject – 6:55 p.m. – 5400 block of La Palma Ave. – A transient was reportedly using electricity behind the building and left the area with milk crates. The subject was now refusing to leave the location. At the request of the business, the subject was admonished regarding trespassing and left the area.

November 9, 2021

Found Property – 8:15 a.m. – 5400 block of Orangethorpe Ave. – To the rear of the business was an abandoned safe that appeared to be forced open. Report taken. Surrounding agencies were notified regarding a possible residential burglary and requested to call back if any similar crimes were located.
Suspicious Vehicle – 9:06 p.m. – 8100 block of Moody St. – A vehicle was reportedly parked on the field with its hazard lights on. Police found the vehicle locked and secured. Police performed a patrol check of the area.
