It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at 2ND & PCH. Santa’s elves are preparing for another bustling holiday season this year and excitement is in the air. Mark your calendars for the 2ND & PCH Annual Tree Lighting which will take place on Friday, December 3rd from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This celebrated event is free and open to all. Festivities include digital photos at the 2ND & PCH holiday backdrop with Buddy the Elf and Jovie, character meet and greets, balloons, face painting and more. Celebrate the onset of the holiday season with the official lighting of the 53-foot live White Fir Christmas tree. A pre-show performance will begin at 5:00 pm near the grand staircase and fountain with the lighting of the tree beginning at approximately 6:00 pm.

PCH Movies and Moonlight returns with a three week holiday series beginning with the seasonal favorite Elf on December 3rd (immediately following the tree lighting) with special guests Buddy the Elf and Jovie in attendance for photos and meet and greets from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. December 10th features The Grinch with special guests and entertainment by The Grinch and Cindy Lou Who from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The series concludes on December 17th featuring Fred Claus with a holiday performance plus meet and greets with Mickey and Minnie Mouse from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Movies are complimentary to the public; self-seating and heaters will be available along Seaport Way on a first come first serve basis. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets. Hot Chocolate is available for purchase on Seaport Way from Ample Hills Creamery.

Santa Claus visits Saturday through Tuesday, December 4th through 21st for Selfies with Santa. The official arrival of Santa and his holiday friends is Saturday, December 4th at 10:00 am with a short performance in advance of photos. Furry companions are welcome on Tuesdays from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm for Paws & Claus. The community is encouraged to bring pets for photos with Santa, in partnership with bark! bark!. Photo lines are cued — no reservations required. All photos are on a first come first served basis; a photographer will not be present. For a full schedule visit 2ndandpch.com/Events.

2ND & PCH shares the gift of the arts through a new live music and entertainment series: PCH Unwrapped, which features live performances and entertainment from various local musicians, youth groups, dancers and more December 4th through 24th. Let Santa know just how good you’ve been this year and download a “Letter to Santa.” Drop off your letter in the 2ND & PCH teal mailbox near Kaiju and Ample Hills Creamery. Letters received with a legible return address prior to December 20th may receive a response from Santa.
