November 15, 2021
Traffic Stop – 8:23 p.m. – Lincoln/Knott – From a traffic stop, Officers arrested a male subject for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded firearm, and possession of stolen property.
Hit and Run – 11:30 p.m. – Katella/Siboney – Anaheim Police Department advised they were in pursuit of a black Mercedes for California Vehicle Code violations. Cypress officers handled the hit and run.
November 16, 2021
Missing Person – 8:31 p.m. – 5000 block of Myra Ave. – An adult male subject from Lakewood was reported missing by his daughter. The missing person’s debit card was used at a gas station in Highland Park and there was a license plate reader hit on his license plate earlier in the evening in Downey. He was entered into MUPS.
Incident Report – 10:12 p.m. – 5200 block of Cherwell Ave. – The reporting party reported that his son received a telephone call and text message from an unknown subject who sent a picture of a handgun. The fifteen-year-old confirmed to the subject that he attended school in Anaheim, and the father was concerned for his son’s safety. The subject’s phone number returned out-of-state and the picture of the handgun was found on Pinterest. No specific threat was given other than the photo of the gun. As a precaution, Anaheim Police Department was notified of the incident.
November 17, 2021
Stolen Vehicle – 10:25 a.m. – 10000 block of Holder St. – The victim parked his silver 2006 Infiniti in the north parking lot of the business. He left the doors unlocked and keys in the vehicle while making deliveries for work. The victim was notified by a co-worker that an unknown suspect entered his vehicle and left the location in an unknown direction.
Petty Theft – 6:35 p.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – An unknown suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and stole her purse, which contained $500.00, miscellaneous credit cards, driver’s license, and a passport.
November 18, 2021
Theft – 3:18 p.m. – 4000 block of Ball Rd. – From a theft just occurred, an officer located and stopped the suspect vehicle as it was fleeing the area, eastbound on Ball at Walker. It was confirmed the female passenger had just committed a shoplifting. Her driver was arrested for driving without a license. It should be noted that the female subject had committed multiple thefts at this location over the past month.
Traffic Stop – 7:39 p.m. – Valley View/Ball – From a traffic stop, a male subject was arrested for lying about his name, warrants and possession of narcotics and paraphernalia. A female subject was arrested for outstanding warrants.
November 19, 2021
Arrest – 4:18 p.m. – 9100 block of Valley View St. – Officers arrested one subject for possession of drug paraphernalia and a second subject for possession of a controlled substance and petty theft. During the investigation, Officers discovered these two suspects were likely the ones who had committed a theft on Wednesday night. Both suspects were cited and released in the field.
Vehicle Burglary – 4:20 p.m. – 9800 block of Via Largo – Sometime overnight an unknown suspect broke into the victim’s vehicle by unknown means and stole a navigation system, sunglasses and miscellaneous items.
Incident Report – 6:25 p.m. – 9800 block of Valley View St. – The reporting party’s son was punched at school. The school is aware of the incident and the School Resource Officer was also notified and will handle Monday. Report taken for documentation.
November 20, 2021
Attempt Vehicle Theft – 12:11 p.m. – 9800 block of Bloomfield – Sometime overnight, an unknown suspect entered the victim’s locked Subaru and tampered with the ignition, but failed to steal the vehicle.
Disturbance (Party) – 10:29 p.m. – 5600 block of Camp – Approximately 200 subjects were at the
location. The cars were double-parked along the street and a steady stream of party-goers were entering and exiting the location. The party was dispersed and a noise warning was issued to the resident. Officers had responded on 10/29/21 for the same circumstances.
Theft – 11:42 p.m. – 9200 block of Bloomfield – An unknown subject stole the rear license plate from the victim’s white Dodge Charger.
November 21, 2021
Arrest – 7:58 a.m. – 5700 block of Orange Ave. – From a call for service, Officers arrested a male subject for possession of methamphetamine and cocaine. The subject was cited and released in the field.
